- Is A-Safe Barrier cost competitive with steel barrier?
- Yes A-Safe barrier is competitively priced against steel if a like for like equivalent is used. Also using A-Safe barriers can result in huge cost saving over a period of time due to much lower maintenance costs, such as repainting and repair costs.
- Can A-Safe Barrier be used within a food production environment?
- All materials used are food grade so perfect for food environment. A-Safe also offer a class 1 food hygiene barrier system for area’s where ingress is a problem.
- What is the working temperature range of A-Safe Barriers?
- A-Safe barriers can work in temperatures ranging from -10° ~ +50° c.
- Can the product be used Externally?
- Yes A-Safe barrier has been engineered to work in almost any weather condition for example, UV protection from the sun.
- Is it manufactured from recycled materials?
- No, however all components with the A-Safe Barrier range are fully recyclable. A-Safe can recycles all its products at the end of its lifespan into other products that the company produces.
- What is the carbon footprint of A-Safe Barrier compared to an equivalent steel barrier?
- Research has shown that from production through to installation and ongoing future maintenance, A-Safe can reduce a company’s carbon footprint at every stage of the barrier’s lifecycle. Over 5 years comparing 100m of A-Safe Traffic Barrier to Steel Armco the co2 produced is significant. This equates to a total of 11933kg for steel and 2530kg for A-Safe Traffic Barrier. - Do I need to supply my own fixings?
- All A-Safe Barriers come with fixings. This is to ensure that the right fixings are used for the right product and application. This results in a barrier that will perform to an optimum level.
- Can you install it?
- A-Safe has its own dedicated installation teams. This will ensure correct installation every time, also ensuring minimum disruption to your working environments.
- What is the lead time for standard product?
- Generally standard A-Safe product will be delivered within 1-2 weeks from receipt of order.
- What is the warranty on the product?
- A-Safe offer a standard 12 months warranty on all products and services provided. This can be extended by to 5 years using A-Safe’s maintenance packages.
