A-Safe in Ireland
In the ten years that A-Safe has been producing their state of the art safety barriers, we’ve been supplying our friends just over the water in Ireland for over a quarter of that time.
A-Safe are specialists in Airport, Car Park and warehouse barriers, and operate worldwide, attracting some high profile customers along the way. Two of our biggest jobs are with some very well known names.
Coca Cola
In 2009, word had spread about the fantastic barriers that A-Safe manufacture and soft drinks giant Coca-Cola we in contact with them to see what they could do at their Lisburn plant.
Their factory is large, and they had many areas in need of protection. Safer walkways for staff, and the protection of products from vehicles and machinery, all of which A-Safe could easily assist them with.
They also needed some protection that A-Safe do not produce as standard, so we visited Lisburn for a full site consultation, and A-Safe were delighted to offer Coca Cola a bespoke solution to their requirements, with non standard double corner rails, wide top rails and a specially designed column protector, and a pair of bespoke rails on chains.
Dublin Airport
Over the last couple of years, A-Safe products have been chosen by Dublin airport in terminals one and two to offer excellent protection.
After success stories at Gatwick airport, where maintenance costs of over £100,000 per year were reduced to around £1000 per year as a result of installing A-Safe barriers, Dublin followed suit. Here, A-Safe has installed a number of bollards, sections of pedestrian segregation, and also our Atlas barrier – especially designed for Airports. It’s a partnership that has we hope will continue for a long time to come.
