In 2011, Bosch celebrates 125 years, during which time the Bosch Group has become a leading global supplier of technologies and services across automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology. With its history of innovation, driven by research and development, Bosch has remained at the forefront of new technologies designed to improve customers' lives. Founded in Stuttgart, Germany by Robert Bosch as a "workshop for precision mechanics and electrical engineering", the first overseas subsidiary was opened in the UK in 1898, just off Oxford Street in London.
It is with pride that A-Safe, the safety barrier specialists based in Halifax, England, has been identified and chosen to enhance Bosch’s impressive safety record in caring and protecting their staff in the warehouses at the UK head office based in Denham, Buckinghamshire, home to the Power Tools division, Automotive Aftermarket, Original Equipment Divisions and Bosch Security Systems.
