Slider Plates

A-Safe Slider Plates are a very useful application for certain barrier products to be quickly and easily removed to give ready access to machinery, ancillaries or little used entrance ways. It comprises a U-shaped plate, anchored to the ground using similar bolts to the normal systems and designed with a slightly raised lip for a regular post base plate to slide under into a fixed position. Because this is a quick release, the direction of release is always away from the protected item.

Applications and Benefits

Base plates are particularly useful in tight restricted areas where machinery needs to be protected, yet needs some regular access for maintenance purposes. Because the plate allows movement away from the protected area it also means that any force or impact directed to that area is contained in the normal way. This system is also useful in protecting little used entrance ways where there is also a crossing point for pedestrians.
