A-Safe Armco Barrier Double Rail

The product is a fully modular system assembled from end and mid post units and single horizontal rail sets comprising two 200mm OD rails. For short barrier lengths less than 1350mm the product is supplied as a single pre-assembled fixed unit, having two post for lengths between 750mm up to 1350mm and a single post for lengths less than 750mm.

As standard the product post centres are 1600mm but this can be varied between 850 - 2000mm to allow sections to be assembled to any required length.

The product has an overall height of 760mm with the two horizontal rails having impact height centres of 300mm and 660mm. Like the single rail version the A-Safe Double Rail Armco Barrier can be fitted with bollard end post assemblies for improved impact protection at the ends of a barrier section and also to allow the barrier to change direction without leaving barrier ends exposed to impacts.   

Made from a durable polymer-based material, A-Safe Single Rail Armco Barrier is a first-class investment in terms of both safety and cost savings on both maintenance and repairs.

Applications

A-Safe Double Rail Armco Barrier is a heavy duty barrier for use where the vehicles being operated are larger and heavier with higher centres of gravity than the medium size counter balance lift trucks and cars that the single rail version is suitable for. The Double Rail version of the A-Safe Armco Barrier provides a higher impact resistance than the single rail version making it ideal for installation in areas where impact frequencies and/or impact forces are high.

A-Safe Double Rail Armco Barriers, like the single rail version, are ideal for preventing and avoiding unnecessary damage, often expensive, from heavier and larger vehicles to walls, structures, building supports, valuable machinery and other ground mounted equipment. They are also ideal for ensuring the vehicles remain within the confines of their designated traffic routes preventing injury to both pedestrians and workforce personnel.
