Car Park Barrier and Anti Climb

The barrier of choice designed and tested specifically to provide the required levels of edge protection and vehicle restraint and containment at the perimeters of single level or multi-storey car parks and comprises of a 200mm single rail with an overall height of 560mm. Its impact height is 440mm. Post centres are 1600mm. This car park protection system comes with the added bonus of an attached balustrade-type Pedestrian Barrier designed with an overall standard height of 1100 mm to provide Pedestrian Edge Restraint as required by the current applicable standards and regulations to prevent pedestrians, including children, from accidentally endangering themselves.

Applications and Benefits

For use mainly in multi-storey car parks to give added protection to pedestrians from straying or falling from height, or wherever pedestrians have access to ramps, particularly children. Together with the barrier rail, both vehicles and pedestrians are protected with products tested to BS Standards. A-Safe barriers come with the traditional highly visible bright yellow and black suitable for underground or dimly lit car park areas; whilst the alternative grey
colour option provides an aesthetically pleasing product to fit in with a buildings structure whilst maintaining visibility. All are suitable for both internal and external use.
