The Rota CP column protectors are suitable for protection of columns are suitable for protection of square, circular or ‘H’ section columns up to a nominal size of 300mm. There are four protectors in the Rota CP range. The CP100 is for use on column sections up to a nominal section size of 100mm, the CP150 for column sections larger than 100mm up to 150mm, the CP200 for column sections larger than 150mm up to 200mm and the CP300 for column section sizes between 200mm to 300mm.

All the protectors are supplied as units in two half sections which are simply fitted to opposite sides of the column and held together using flexible material straps with tightening buckles. The CP100 and 150 protectors are hexagonally shaped when in place and have a 435mm wide section with a height of 1000mm. When fitted the CP200 and 300 protectors have a 600mm circular section with a height of 1100mm.

Applications and Benefits

The protectors are the lightest duty product in the Column Protection range and can be used in any industrial, manufacturing, commercial or public environments where moving vehicles likely to cause low force impacts are present in the vicinity of columns.

They can be used to protect rectangular columns where one column dimension is 300mm or less using oversize fixing straps. They can also be “stacked” on a column to give protection to a desired height. The CP 100 and 150 protectors are ideal for use on mezzanine floor columns where there are often space limitations.
